Design Parameters

DWC: the bottom cope lines up with the bottom of the end plate (DG4 Figure 4).
Minimum design shear of min(40 kN, 0.15 φVv) applied (AS 4100 9.1.4).
0 = report the rotation limit ti/ac only.
Required for ASI Check 9 (local stability of a coped member).
DG4: 6 or 8 mm SP welds.
The end plate is symmetric about the bolt rows. For a coped beam the top of the plate is set at the cope (cope depth = first bolt - end distance) when the plate or bolts change.

Existing NZ/Australian section database. AS/NZS 3679.1 (sections, flat bar), AS/NZS 3678 (plate). A supporting beam is taken with its top level with the supported beam.
